Ministry of Islamic Affairs: Registration for Kuwaiti citizens to apply for positions as imams, preachers, and muezzins open until September 30

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs announced the opening of registration for the written examination to fill a number of Sharia-compliant positions for Kuwaiti nationals, including roles as imam and khateeb, imam, and muezzin, as part of its efforts to attract and qualify national talents for work in mosques.
The ministry clarified that registration applications will be accepted at the Imams and Muezzins Training Center in the Al-Ruqa’i area, during official working hours from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
It noted that registration will remain open until September 30, 2026, urging interested candidates to register within the specified period in preparation for the written examination and to complete the recruitment procedures in accordance with the approved regulations and requirements.
