Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour instructs cooperatives to consolidate their staffing needs for the next five years

Al-Qureih newspaper learned from its sources that the Ministry of Social Affairs has instructed the boards of directors of all cooperative societies to provide it with their current and projected staffing needs for the next five years, specifying the positions and specializations that can be filled by graduates of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET).
According to sources within the Ministry of Social Affairs, the ministry directed the Cooperative Societies Union to circulate a notice to the societies regarding staffing requirements, based on a communication from PAAET concerning the assessment of labor market needs for the “Technical Diploma in Sustainability” program at the Industrial Training Institute in Shuwaikh.
The sources noted that the union called on the executive bodies of the cooperative societies to inventory their staffing and specialization needs in the coming period, thereby enabling the ministry to supply the necessary data to PAAET to align educational and training outputs with labor market requirements.
This initiative comes within the framework of supporting cooperation between government entities and educational institutions to prepare qualified national cadres, enhance their employment opportunities in the cooperative sector, and implement relevant ministerial decisions and directives.
