Kuwait: Continuation of Iran’s baseless aggression... A systematic hostile approach that cannot be justified or accepted

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s strongest condemnation and rejection of the ongoing, egregious Iranian aggression against the country, which today targeted several vital and military installations using hostile drones. This constitutes a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, a direct threat to its security and stability, and a serious breach of the principles of international law, the United Nations Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the continuation of these brazen attacks represents a dangerous escalation and reflects a systematic hostile approach that cannot be justified or accepted.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Kuwait’s firm position that the State of Kuwait retains its inherent and legitimate right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, protect its security, and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.
