Bank of Japan Keeps Interest Rates Unchanged

In a two-day meeting that concluded on Friday, the central bank voted eight to one to keep its short-term policy target at one percent. Bank Governor Kazuo Ueda will hold a press conference later to explain the monetary policy decision.
