Iran persists in its transgressions against Kuwait

In another despicable episode of the blatant Iranian assaults on Kuwait, which have crossed every red line concerning norms, laws, good-neighborly values, and universal principles, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, announced yesterday that the reprehensible Iranian aggression targeted a building belonging to one of the Chinese companies in the northern part of the country, resulting in the death of one worker and causing severe material damage to the building.
Al-Atwan stated in a statement that the competent authorities immediately began taking the necessary measures and handling the situation, in coordination with the relevant entities.
He added that the Armed Forces reaffirmed their continued execution of their duties and responsibilities with high efficiency, and that they are taking all necessary steps to protect the sovereignty of the homeland, safeguard its security and stability, and ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
During the call, Al-Jaber expressed Kuwait’s condemnation of the attack on Egypt by a drone, which caused a fire aboard two ships at the Port of Damietta the day before yesterday, reaffirming Kuwait’s full solidarity with Egypt and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty and preserve its security. Additionally, the Foreign Minister received a phone call the night before yesterday from Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs, Ayman Safadi.
The two ministers, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reiterated their condemnation of the reprehensible Iranian attacks that recently targeted Kuwait and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. They also discussed during the call the latest regional developments and diplomatic efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region, and ensuring the safety and freedom of maritime navigation.
