Al-Jazeera: Three daily flights to Amman

Gulf Air, the leading low-cost carrier in Kuwait, has announced an increase in its flights between Kuwait and Amman Civil Airport (ADJ) to three daily flights, providing travelers with greater flexibility and broader travel options in line with rising demand during the summer season.

Gulf Air transferred all its operations to the new Amman Civil Airport last February, making access to the heart of the Jordanian capital faster and easier for passengers. Since launching its flights to Amman Civil Airport, the airline has carried more than 50,000 passengers on this route, reflecting the growing popularity of Jordan as a preferred destination for tourism, study, family and friends visits, and business travel.

Paul Carroll, Head of Commercial at Gulf Air, said, “Jordan remains one of the most sought-after destinations within Gulf Air’s network. Since launching our flights to Jordan in 2005, Gulf Air has played a pivotal role in connecting families, business travelers, students, and tourists between Kuwait and Jordan.”

Carroll added, “Since commencing operations to Amman Civil Airport last February, we have carried more than 50,000 passengers on this route, underscoring the strong demand for this destination.”
