Kuwait Writers Association Launches Summer Used Book Exhibition... Sunday

The Writers’ Association is organizing its summer used-book exhibition at its headquarters in the Adailiya area from August 2 to 4, in the evening sessions. This initiative reflects the association’s commitment to supporting Kuwait’s cultural development, fostering social interaction among writers and intellectuals, and encouraging reading across all age groups and fields of interest, with books offered at affordable prices accessible to everyone.

The books available at the exhibition are donated by association members. Some members also wish to sell their own used copies for personal profit, with the association retaining a percentage of the sales proceeds to cover operational costs. The exhibition features a diverse range of titles, including short stories, Arabic and translated novels, poetry collections, critical and theatrical studies, and more.

In addition, the Writers’ Association is participating in the summer book fair organized by the Graduates Association from August 19 to 23 at its headquarters in Bin Qar. The association is enabling its members to showcase and sell copies of their diverse literary works, both old and new, with the aim of boosting book sales for authors and facilitating access for readers.
