Gulf Football Union Launches New Visual Identity and Adopts New Name

The Gulf Football Union announced its official identity and new name on Thursday in Doha, marking the start of a new phase in its journey and strengthening its institutional presence, in line with the developments witnessed by sports in the region.

Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, the Union’s president, affirmed that this moment is pivotal in the Union’s growth trajectory, highlighting the importance of adopting a new identity that reflects the anticipated transformation over the coming decades while remaining steadfast in its vision to contribute to enhancing the global presence of Gulf national teams and clubs.

The Union’s president added that strategic partnerships forged in recent years have contributed to supporting Gulf football, growing competitions, and consolidating their status, expressing his appreciation for the efforts of member associations and commending their role in the Union’s journey since its establishment.
