Seville signs Diaz from Atletico

Sevilla FC announced the signing of Julio Diaz, left-back of Atletico Madrid, for approximately one million euros.

Julio Diaz is a product of Atletico Madrid’s youth academy, joining the club in 2018 from Rayo Vallecano. He progressed through the youth and reserve teams before reaching the first team.

Last season, Diaz made four appearances for the first team under manager Diego Simeone, making his debut in February.

Two months later, Julio Diaz featured in Sevilla’s match against Atletico Madrid at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, where the Andalusian side secured a 2-1 victory, earning three crucial points in their battle to avoid relegation.
