Saudi Arabia: Drones launched by Iran-backed groups from Iraq intercepted

Saudi Defense Ministry spokesperson Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki stated that air defenses intercepted and destroyed several drones in recent hours, which had attempted to target oil facilities in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Brigadier General Al-Maliki clarified that these terrorist attempts were launched again from Iraqi territory and carried out by Iran-backed terrorist militias, affirming the Kingdom’s inherent right to defend itself and its assets, as well as its right to respond at the time and place of its choosing.
