Irish Taoiseach and German Chancellor hold talks in Dublin

According to the British news agency PA Media, Meretz is scheduled to hold talks with Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris during a visit to Dublin on Tuesday.

Harris said the meeting would focus on “some of the biggest challenges” facing the bloc, including the ongoing disagreement among member states over the size of the European Union’s long-term budget.

Germany is one of several countries pushing for a budget lower than the proposed spending plan, which amounts to two trillion euros.
