Ministry of Finance participates in meeting of Banking Supervision

The Court of Accounts stated that, in light of the importance of exchanging scientific and practical expertise and developing technical knowledge and practical skills among members of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI), the Court is participating in the training session on “Banking Sector Oversight” from July 26 to 30, 2026, via video conferencing technology.

In a press statement issued today, the Court said the session covers several key topics, including banking oversight and the regulatory framework, banking risk management, credit portfolio quality assessment, governance and internal controls, on-site supervision and financial statement audits, as well as information technology and cybersecurity reviews.

Participants from the Court included Fatima Al-Filikaawi, First Member of the Technical Office for Oversight of Independent Entities, the Oil Sector, and Companies, and Nour Ismail, Senior Auditor in the Department for Oversight of Independent Entities for Financial and Investment Affairs.
