Kuwait condemns the targeting of oil facilities in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strongest condemnation and denunciation of the attacks that attempted to target petroleum facilities in the Eastern and Riyadh regions of the friendly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, carried out by drones launched by Iran-backed militias in Iraq. These acts constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as a breach of international law, the UN Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817.

The Ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s full solidarity with the friendly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its security and sovereignty, emphasizing that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
