Chinese initiative to resume negotiations between the US and Iran

A senior source told Al Arabiya that China is coordinating with Pakistan to resume talks between the United States and Iran, including discussions on reciprocal confidence-building measures between the two sides.

The source said that China is attempting to pave the way for broader negotiations between the two countries on Iran’s nuclear program file, as well as laying the groundwork for talks on regional security and sanctions.
