Kuwait U18 basketball team loses to Bahrain in Asian Cup qualifiers

Kuwait’s national basketball team lost today, Sunday, to their Bahraini counterparts with a score of 51-106, in the Gulf region qualifiers for the FIBA Asia Under-18 Championship, currently being held in the Qatari capital, Doha.

In the second match, which saw Saudi Arabia face Qatar, the Qatari national team secured a victory with a score of 80-76.

The tournament, taking place from July 25 to 30 at the Al Gharafa Sports Hall in Qatar, features five teams: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and the Sultanate of Oman. The teams are competing in a round-robin format, with the top two finishers earning berths to the continental finals, to be hosted by India in August.
