The Open University and Namaa discussed cooperation to support Compass

During the meeting, the parties discussed avenues for joint cooperation between the university and the institution regarding the “Bousala” platform project, which focuses on guiding and advising high school and university students to support their educational and academic journeys and empower them to make appropriate decisions regarding their academic and professional futures.

The two sides also discussed the prospects for partnership and coordination in implementing programs and initiatives that serve the target group and enhance the achievement of “Bousala”’s objectives in providing guidance and counseling to students, in line with both parties’ aspirations to support youth and develop their capabilities.

On another note, the university organized a developmental workshop titled “Enhancing Job Loyalty in the Workplace.” It noted that the interactive workshop, which lasted for three training hours, aimed to equip participants with modern tools and practices that contribute to building a positive, motivating, and productive work environment, thereby improving performance efficiency and retaining human resources.

In a press statement, the university added that the workshop featured comprehensive discussions on employee performance in the workplace, their perspectives and how they handle negative environments, as well as the impact of the work environment and colleague relationships on productivity.

It further stated that the workshop focused on honing effective communication skills within the institution and highlighting the importance of body language applications in marketing and professional interactions, as part of its ongoing efforts to provide training programs that serve various sectors and keep pace with labor market requirements.
