Emirati President and British Prime Minister Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations

The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held telephone talks with British Prime Minister Andy Burnham on bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them across various fields in order to serve the common interests of the two countries.
The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed congratulated the British Prime Minister on assuming office, wishing him success in leading his country toward further progress and prosperity.
The agency added that both sides reaffirmed their aspiration to continue strengthening UAE-British relations and expanding the scope of cooperation in the interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples, and exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual concern.
