Kuwait condemns settlers' attacks on villages in the occupied West Bank

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and denunciation of the attacks carried out by extremist settlers, which targeted several villages in the occupied West Bank. It emphasized that these attacks are an extension of the Israeli occupation’s policies aimed at escalating violence against the fraternal Palestinian people, and constitute a blatant violation of international law and resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.

The Ministry affirmed that these attacks reflect the Israeli occupation’s approach of enabling extremist settlers to continue their violations and crimes against the fraternal Palestinian people under the protection of occupation forces, thereby undermining prospects for peace. It called on the international community to take urgent action to halt these attacks and hold their perpetrators accountable.

The Ministry reiterated the State of Kuwait’s steadfast position supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among which is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
