Al-Jahra begins local preparations... with a potential camp in England

On another note, Club Board Chairman Yousef Karim Al-Anzi held a meeting with the technical and administrative staff and the players, during which he welcomed everyone and emphasized that the previous season’s chapter has been closed, with the focus now solely on the upcoming season to achieve the desired results.

Ahmed Abdul-Karim, Al-Jahra’s head coach, expressed his deep appreciation for the trust shown by the club’s board of directors following the renewal of his contract and his continuation with the team for the next season.

He added, “I took charge in the middle of last season, amid a significant decline in performance and results, with little time left to salvage what could be saved.”

He noted that Al-Jahra will be in a better position next season, will achieve the expected results, and will secure a high standing befitting the club’s history.

He stated that all foreign players who participated with Al-Jahra last season will be replaced, and the club has already signed Brazilian striker Rorima Mont. He clarified that the average age of the squad will decrease noticeably, as priority in new signings will be given to younger players to strengthen the team.
