Iranian aggression continues as defenses counter hostile drones

Iranian aggression continued its despicable attacks on Kuwaiti territory yesterday, as Kuwaiti air defenses repelled hostile drone attacks following this aggression.

The General Staff of the Army stated in a bulletin that any sounds of explosions heard were the result of air defense systems intercepting hostile attacks, urging everyone to comply with safety and security instructions issued by the competent authorities.

The ministry reiterated the UAE’s full solidarity with Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, affirming its support for all measures aimed at preserving their security and stability.

Egypt also strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, describing them as a blatant violation of the sovereignty of states and a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region, in contravention of international law and the UN Charter.

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement Egypt’s full solidarity with Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, and its complete support for all measures taken to safeguard their security and stability, and to protect their sovereignty and territorial integrity.
