James seeks to achieve his final feat with Philadelphia

LeBron James, renowned for his exceptional skills and remarkable longevity, is embarking on his 24th season in the National Basketball Association with the Philadelphia 76ers, where he will aim to win his fifth championship title, as announced two days ago.

This “Last Decision” marks the final chapter for the league’s all-time leading scorer, the player dubbed “The Chosen One” since his high school days, who has consistently excelled and never hesitated to leverage his status as a global icon to voice his views.

James became the NBA’s all-time leading scorer in February 2023, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record of 38,387 points, which had stood since April 5, 1984—more than eight months before James’s own birth.

His titles and records speak for themselves: he currently has more than 43,000 regular-season points, four NBA championships, four Finals MVP awards, four regular-season MVP awards, three Olympic gold medals, and 22 All-Star Game appearances.

James also holds the record for the longest consecutive regular-season game streak with at least 10 points scored, spanning 1,297 games from January 2007 to December 2025.

For two decades, he held the record for the youngest player to score 40 points in a game, until Cooper Flagg broke that mark last season; however, James remains the oldest player to score 40 points in a game.
