Salman Al-Amari inaugurates the "Cultural Summer" events

The National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters will open the “Cultural Summer” festival on August 5 with an artistic evening titled “Samari with Al-Amari,” celebrating Kuwaiti musical heritage at the Drama Theater in Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center.

The evening will be performed by Salman Al-Amari, in collaboration with Al-Mass Folk Arts Troupe, in a musical encounter that revives the features of Kuwaiti vocal heritage. Known for his ability to revive heritage with a spirit that blends authenticity and innovation, Al-Amari will present a selection of the most famous traditional singing arts, including Al-Sawt, Al-Samri, Al-Qadiri, and Al-Labouni, in a performance that highlights the richness of Kuwaiti musical identity.

Al-Mass Folk Arts Troupe, which has established itself as an ambassador of Kuwaiti folk arts, will participate by presenting artistic tableaux that reflect the aesthetics of traditional performance, adding to the evening an atmosphere that celebrates Kuwaiti cultural heritage and presents it to new generations in a manner that preserves its authenticity.

This evening marks the opening of the “Cultural Summer” festival, organized annually by the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters. The festival features a diverse program of cultural and artistic events aimed at enhancing cultural activity during the summer season, highlighting elements of Kuwaiti heritage, and supporting arts and creativity in all their forms.
