Abdulhadi Al-Hamadi launches "Our Country is Proud"

Artist Abdulhadi Al-Humaidi launched his latest national work, titled “Our Country Takes Pride,” in a piece that translates feelings of love and loyalty to Kuwait. He emphasized that the song stems from his deep belief in the role of art in reinforcing values of belonging and strengthening national identity.

Al-Humaidi explained that the song represents a message of love and fidelity to the homeland, embodying the pride and honor every citizen feels for Kuwait, its leadership, and its people. He noted that national works remain closest to an artist’s heart, as they carry a responsibility and a lofty message that transcends the boundaries of art to enhance national awareness. He added, “I was keen to write the lyrics, compose the music, and perform the song myself, because I wanted it to reflect my complete artistic vision and to carry a pure national message that aligns with national occasions and reinforces values of unity and love.”

He pointed out that the work was the result of collaboration with a group of artistic elites. Mr. Jasim Al-Khalaf handled sound engineering and mixing, while Dr. Rashid Al-Nuwaishar supervised the musical arrangement. Al-Humaidi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Bin Hussein band, represented by Mohammed Bin Hussein and Mohammed Al-Muzayel, for their contribution to the success of the project and its presentation in a manner befitting a national song.

Regarding his new projects, Al-Humaidi said, “I am currently working on a number of new pieces that will see the light soon, and which will bring distinctive surprises to my dear audience. I always strive to present works that elevate the listener’s taste and add to my artistic career.”
