Al-Filakawi: Dialogue sessions and an art exhibition at "Nujoom Al-Watan"

Dr. Nabil Al-Filakawi, President of the Kuwaiti Union of Artists and Media Professionals, affirmed that the organization of the “Stars of the Nation” forum, bearing the slogan “One Nation... Multiple Creations. An Eternal Message,” stems from the Union’s conviction in the national role played by art and media in consolidating values of belonging and national identity, and in enhancing social responsibility among various segments of society. He noted that the forum will be held on August 9 at Grand Cinema in Al Hamra Mall.

Dr. Al-Filakawi stated that the forum’s program includes three main dialogue sessions: the first, titled “The Brush and the Lens... Embodying Love for the Nation”; the second, “Content Creators... A National Message in the Digital Age”; and the third, “Stars of Drama and Media... When the Message Becomes National,” reflecting the diversity of creative fields and their role in serving the nation.

He added that the forum also features an exhibition of visual arts and photography, alongside segments including opening remarks by him, by Forum Chairman Jamal Al-Adwani, and by the Forum’s Guest of Honor, an patriotic anthem, an opening video about the forum, emphasizing that this event represents a space for constructive dialogue and the exchange of ideas and visions among creators and the public.
