US Forces Disable Commercial Cargo Ship in the Gulf of Oman

The Associated Press reported today that U.S. forces intercepted and disabled the commercial cargo vessel Lavin in the Gulf of Oman for attempting to breach the blockade imposed on Iranian ports.

This makes the vessel the fifth to be disabled since the United States reimposed its naval blockade on Iran.
