Barcelona officially signs German player Karim Adeyemi

Karam Adeyemi, the winger for German football club Borussia Dortmund, has officially joined La Liga champions Barcelona, signing a contract that runs until 2031.
In an official statement on Thursday, Barcelona said: “Adeyemi brings a distinctive and versatile attacking touch to our squad. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated his ability to play on both wings and as a central striker, combining exceptional speed with a powerful left foot.”
According to reports, Dortmund and Barcelona agreed on a transfer fee of 22 million euros ($25 million), plus 7 million euros in add-ons.
Dortmund had attempted over several weeks to extend Adeyemi’s contract, but without success.
Adeyemi, whose contract with Dortmund was set to expire in 2027, joined the German club four years ago from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg for a fee of just over 30 million euros.
