Speaker of the Iranian Parliament: No one will sell oil in a region where we do not sell oil

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf stated that “the equation of this war is clear: either all or none,” emphasizing that the security of the Strait of Hormuz “depends on the absence of U.S. forces,” and that Tehran has informed relevant parties that the strait “will not return to its pre-war state.”

Qalibaf added that “no infrastructure in the region will be safe unless Iran’s security is guaranteed,” warning of the repercussions of continued security threats.

He stressed that Iran would not accept the continued export of oil from the region if it is prevented from exporting its own oil, saying, “No one will sell oil in a region where we do not sell oil.”
