Ministry of Islamic Affairs Approves New Organizational Structure

The decision, a copy of which was obtained by Al-Jarida, is part of the ministry’s efforts to update its organizational structure in line with the state’s direction for developing the government apparatus, and in accordance with the laws, decrees, and decisions governing the ministry’s work. Following approval from the Civil Service Bureau of the new organizational framework, the move ensures the application of best administrative and organizational practices across all ministry sectors.

The new structure aims to reorganize administrative units, clarify their reporting lines and jurisdictions, thereby enhancing integration among various sectors, streamlining work procedures, improving decision-making efficiency, and strengthening coordination between departments. These improvements will positively impact performance levels and the speed of task implementation.

The new framework includes a number of organizational units and departments reporting to the Minister, the Deputy Minister, the Assistant Deputy Minister for Administrative and Financial Affairs, the Assistant Deputy Minister for Islamic Affairs, and the ministry’s General Directors. This structure contributes to organizing administrative and supervisory work, enhancing integration among various departments, and ensuring clear supervisory lines and responsibilities, in line with the ministry’s continuous development requirements.

The new structure emphasizes consolidating the principles of governance and institutional oversight through the distribution of responsibilities and clarification of duties. This enhances transparency and accountability, improves monitoring and evaluation efficiency, and supports the optimal use of human and administrative resources, thereby contributing to achieving the highest levels of institutional performance.

The adoption of the new structure reflects the commitment of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to continue developing its institutional work environment, enhancing performance efficiency, and updating management mechanisms. This enables the ministry to carry out its duties and responsibilities effectively and efficiently, and to achieve its objectives of delivering high-quality services based on a developmental vision grounded in modern organizational foundations.
