Benfica signs Saudi Al-Nassr's Juan Duran on loan

Benfica announced on its official website that it has loaned 22-year-old Duran until the end of the 2026/2027 season, noting that the deal is valued at 6.1 million euros. The contract includes an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of next season for 30 million euros.

John Duran expressed his happiness at starting this new chapter in his football career, telling Benfica’s website, “I thank God, as I said when I arrived. I am happy. I still say it is the biggest club in Portugal. I am very grateful to be here.”

Benfica finished last season in third place in the Portuguese league table, eight points behind their traditional rivals Porto, who won the title.
