Al-Anzi inquires about the level of municipal services and coordination in industrial and craft areas

Al-Anazi, in his question submitted to the Executive Body of the Kuwait Municipality, inquired about the coordination mechanism in place between the Industry Authority and the Kuwait Municipality regarding municipal services within all industrial and craft areas, particularly concerning general cleanliness, waste removal, and preserving the civilized appearance of these areas.
He clarified that the objective of the question is to assess the reality of municipal services in industrial and craft areas, enhance coordination between the “Industry Authority,” the Kuwait Municipality, and relevant government entities, thereby contributing to clear responsibilities, swift resolution of observations, and improvement in the level of general cleanliness, infrastructure, and provided services. This, in turn, will positively impact the investment climate, safeguard public funds, and strengthen the role of these areas in supporting the national economy and increasing state revenues.
Al-Anazi noted that despite the efforts made by government entities, several observations remain in certain industrial and craft areas. These include disparities in the level of general cleanliness between different zones, the need to enhance the efficiency of municipal services, the necessity of maintaining internal streets, directional signs, and public facilities, and delays in addressing some service-related issues due to the multiplicity of competent government authorities. He emphasized the need to strengthen coordination between the Industry Authority and relevant government entities to ensure the prompt resolution of observations and the improvement of service standards.
