Saudi Arabia condemns Houthi accusations of besieging the Yemeni people and blocking maritime navigation

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as reaffirming that the Kingdom’s position aims to establish peace in Yemen and end the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people. It noted that the Kingdom has supported United Nations efforts to achieve peace in Yemen over the past years, including the road map approved by the Yemeni government, while the Houthi militia refrained from declaring its acceptance.

The ministry further condemned in the strongest terms the accusations made by the so-called military spokesperson for the terrorist Houthi militia, which falsely alleged that the Kingdom was imposing a blockade on the brotherly Yemeni people and banning maritime navigation.
