Iran Intensifies Attacks on Kuwait

In a brazen escalation and a heinous aggression that reveals a malicious, revenge-driven mentality with no regard for international law or principles of good neighborliness, Iran continued its heinous attacks against Kuwait yesterday. Since dawn, Kuwait experienced three waves of targeting, which, according to the General Staff, consisted of hostile missile and drone attacks that were intercepted by our air defenses.

The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, announced in a statement yesterday that the armed forces continue to carry out their duties and responsibilities with high efficiency, within the framework of continuous readiness and constant preparedness. He emphasized that all necessary measures are being taken to protect the nation’s sovereignty and safeguard its security and stability, in coordination with competent authorities, to ensure the safety of citizens and residents.

Egypt, in a statement issued by its Foreign Ministry yesterday, renewed its full solidarity with Kuwait and its firm rejection of any aggression that undermines the sovereignty, security, or vital installations or civilians of Arab states.

Al-Yamahi, in a statement, reaffirmed the Arab Parliament’s full solidarity with Kuwait, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities to halt such attacks and to take a firm stance against any violation targeting the sovereignty of Arab states or their civilian infrastructure.
