Larocha receives $50 million after being crowned

Spain’s national team clinched the 2026 FIFA World Cup title in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, marking their second championship in history, after a hard-fought and well-deserved 1-0 victory over Argentina in extra time in yesterday’s final.

Following their triumph, Spain received the first-place prize from FIFA, worth $50 million, while the previous World Cup champions, Argentina, settled for $33 million as runners-up.

Meanwhile, England claimed third place with a thrilling 6-4 win over France, earning $29 million, while France took home $27 million for fourth place.

Teams finishing fifth through eighth each received $19 million, those placing ninth through sixteenth received $15 million, teams ranked 17th through 32nd received $11 million, and those finishing 33rd through 48th received $9 million.
