Undersecretary of Health Issues Directive to Regulate Conduct Within Health Facilities

The Ministry of Health stated in a statement that the directive stipulates that health facility administrations and public relations departments shall receive inquiries from patients and their families, and address them promptly and efficiently in accordance with approved procedures.

It also mandated the adoption of necessary organizational measures to ensure the continuity of operations in a more streamlined environment, and to address any obstacles or situations that may affect the delivery of health services.

Emphasizing that the interaction of health personnel with patients should be limited to medical, clinical, and technical aspects in accordance with their professional competencies.
