US crude oil inventories fall to lowest level since March 1983

Reuters, citing data from the U.S. Department of Energy, reported that crude oil stocks in the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve fell by approximately 5.1 million barrels to 311.4 million barrels last week.

The agency added that this decline marks the lowest level since March 1983.
