The Commercial Bank sponsors the ceremony honoring outstanding high school students in Al-Jahra Governorate
The Commercial Bank of Kuwait sponsored an event honoring outstanding students who achieved top ranks in the General Secondary Education Certificate examinations across schools in Al-Jahra Governorate, held at the governorate’s general diwan.
The event was organized as part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility programs and its contributions to community activities sponsored by civil society organizations, including Kuwait’s governorates, as well as the support and sponsorship program the bank provides for various educational and social events, based on prior arrangements with Kuwait’s six governorates.
The event was sponsored by and attended by Al-Jahra Governor Hamad Jassem Al-Habshi, along with Amal Al-Wara’, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Communications at the Commercial Bank of Kuwait, and Mahmoud Abdul-Rida, Director of Educational Affairs for the Al-Jahra Governorate Educational Zone.
On his part, Al-Habshi praised the Commercial Bank’s initiatives aimed at providing all forms of support and sponsorship for community, educational, and health events organized by Al-Jahra Governorate, including this event, which was held to recognize students’ efforts and their dedication to diligence and perseverance throughout the academic year, and to encourage high achievers. He wished all outstanding students continued success in their future endeavors.
In a related statement, Amal Al-Wara’ said: “The bank is committed to providing all forms of support and sponsorship for educational and academic events, including sponsoring the recognition of outstanding students in the General Secondary Education Certificate, based on the bank’s belief in the importance of encouraging exceptional students to excel academically. We wish them continued success, distinction, and a smooth transition to university.”
Al-Wara’ noted that the bank’s sponsorship of this distinguished event, which received great appreciation from the honored students and their families, serves to reinforce the concept of comprehensive corporate social responsibility within the framework of the program launched by the Commercial Bank several years ago to sponsor and support purposeful community and educational activities organized by Kuwait’s governorates in coordination with relevant authorities.
