Kuwait Airways: Rescheduling of affected flights without canceling any flight

The Acting Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Airways, Abdulwahab Ibrahim Al-Shatti, confirmed that the company continues to operate all its direct flights normally in accordance with approved schedules, firmly denying any rumors of flight cancellations.
He noted that several flights originally scheduled for last Saturday were rescheduled due to exceptional operational circumstances and a temporary suspension of takeoffs and landings at Kuwait International Airport, ensuring passenger safety and the continuity of operational activities.
Al-Shatti explained that Kuwait Airways handled the developments with high efficiency and flexibility, with various operational, technical, and administrative teams working around the clock to reschedule and operate affected flights as soon as possible, while ensuring no impact on the following day’s schedule. Flights for the next day proceeded according to their approved schedules without disruption, reflecting the company’s readiness and ability to manage various operational conditions.
He added that the company continues to monitor all developments related to air traffic in coordination with relevant authorities, implementing flexible operational plans that ensure flight continuity while adhering to the highest safety and security standards. Al-Shatti emphasized that Kuwait Airways possesses the human and technical capabilities to respond swiftly to any developments, and is fully prepared to meet passengers’ needs and provide them with the best services while maintaining the regularity of its direct flights.
Al-Shatti pointed out that the company’s actions during this period reflect the national carrier’s readiness to handle emergency operational conditions, successfully rescheduling affected flights without resorting to cancellations, while continuing to provide efficient services to passengers. This contributed to minimizing the impact of developments on customers’ travel plans and ensuring the smooth flow of operational activities.
Al-Shatti concluded his statement by reaffirming that Kuwait Airways continues to execute its operations with high efficiency, despite the operational challenges in the region that affected air traffic and led to modifications and cancellations of several flights by some airlines. However, “Kuwait Airways” managed to maintain the continuity of its flights through rescheduling without canceling any flight. He reiterated his call for customers to follow the company’s official channels to stay updated, while emphasizing the national carrier’s commitment to providing safe and reliable air transport services that meet passengers’ expectations.
Al-Shatti also urged passengers to ensure they provide accurate contact information, such as phone numbers or email addresses, during booking, so they can receive notifications regarding any updates or changes to their flights.
