CENTCOM: Unknown remains found at the site where two soldiers were killed

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the discovery of unidentified remains at the site in Jordan where two U.S. military personnel were killed and a third went missing following an Iranian attack on July 17, after a meticulous search conducted by the U.S. Army.

In a separate incident, a U.S. service member was killed in northern Iraq on Saturday, July 18, during a controlled detonation of unexploded ordnance from a one-way expendable attack drone (loitering munition) of Iranian origin that had crashed earlier. A second service member was also injured and is currently receiving medical treatment for minor injuries.

CENTCOM provided no additional information, including the identities of the missing personnel.
