In Red Ink: Neighbors of Treachery
What unites Kuwait’s neighbors in the north and east is their inability to comprehend Kuwait’s peaceful and prosperous model. Their pent-up internal frustrations have turned into venom that targets Kuwait’s flank and stabs it in the back for centuries.
This duality is evident in the Iraqi landscape, where recent revelations have exposed billions in corruption and theft by MPs and officials, while the population suffers from hunger and poverty. Yet, despite years of internal massacres, Iranian ambitions and dominance, hunger, poverty, corruption, and the plundering of resources that surpass our own, they have not risen up against any of this. Instead, they vent their anger exclusively against Kuwait, invading our waters, borders, and waterways. This reflects a profound “inferiority complex” toward Kuwait, with the events of 1990 serving as a living example.
The greatest and most dangerous betrayal, however, comes from the Iranian terrorist regime. History and reality confirm that it harbors deep-seated black hatred toward the Gulf region in general and Kuwait in particular. Iran’s recent targeting of Kuwaiti infrastructure constitutes a complete war crime, extending a uniquely Safavid plot overflowing with evil. This blatant aggression recalls their serial criminal history, from the attempted assassination of the late Emir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad, to the hijacking of the Al-Jaberiyah flight, the bombing of popular cafes and processions, the planting of terrorist cells, and finally, their attack on Kuwait through targeting ports, electricity, civilian facilities, and civilians. These cowards cannot even send a paper airplane over the US warships that obliterated their existence and erased their dignity.
Recent events have revealed that this renegade Iranian regime and its affiliated militias pose an imminent threat surpassing any other. Their attempts to destroy our vital facilities are merely evidence of their desire to destabilize the stability and prosperity they have failed to achieve for their own people.
In the face of these challenges, media emerges as the strongest weapon and a national responsibility. We must all speak the truth without equivocation and disseminate it to the world, ensuring the world hears the authentic narrative backed by facts, thereby cutting off the path to the terrorists of disinformation and false narratives orchestrated by the failed Iranian megaphones. Conspiracies will not succeed against us, and we are certain that this regime will soon fall. Kuwait will remain impervious to treachery and deceit, standing as a beacon of truth and sovereignty.
