Participation in the meetings of the Gulf Arab Education Office

The Council discussed, during its sessions, the Director General’s report on the progress of implementing educational programs and projects, as well as the activities of specialized bodies during the 2025–2026 financial year. It highlighted key achievements realized under joint plans among member states, reflecting the ongoing development of the Gulf educational system.

The Council also reviewed a report on the financial sustainability of the Arab Educational Office, aiming to enhance resource management efficiency and ensure the continued implementation of its programs and projects. Additionally, it approved modifications to three job grades within the approved structure of the Arab Center for Educational Research for Gulf Countries during the current financial year.

The Kuwaiti delegation participated in discussions addressing the latest educational trends. The first workshop focused on “shadow education” and its impact on supporting the educational process, while the second workshop discussed “the advantages and challenges of artificial intelligence in education,” highlighting opportunities to leverage AI technologies in educational development and the challenges associated with the responsible and effective use of these technologies, in line with Kuwait’s direction toward digital transformation and the development of the educational system.
