Two US soldiers killed and a third missing in Iranian attacks in Jordan

The U.S. military announced on Saturday that it had suffered its first casualties among its forces due to a direct Iranian attack since the early days of the war, noting that two soldiers were killed and another was missing after an attack targeted a military base in Jordan.

The statement added that four other soldiers were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals and later discharged after receiving treatment, while the identities of the deceased have not yet been disclosed.
