Al-Awazem Wins the Arab Award for Responsible Media

Al-Awazim Charity Foundation won the Arab Award for Responsible Media 2026, during the proceedings of the Third Arab Forum on Socially Responsible Media 2026, organized by the Regional Network for Social Responsibility in Bahrain. This achievement adds another new Arab milestone to the foundation’s distinguished record of excellence in institutional and media work.
The award was presented by Ahmad Karata, Second Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Bahrain, to Hamad Al-Bassis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Awazim Charity Foundation and UN Ambassador for Community Partnership, in the presence of Dr. Yusuf Al-Abbasi, President of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility.
In a statement on this occasion, Al-Bassis expressed his pride in this honor, emphasizing that Al-Awazim Charity Foundation’s receipt of the 2026 Arab Award for Responsible Media represents the culmination of an institutional approach that leverages media as a partner in development and a tool for building public awareness, while consolidating the culture of charitable work and social responsibility. He noted that this achievement reflects the foundation’s success in presenting an impactful institutional model at both the local and Arab levels.
