Civil Defense: Control over 5 fires resulting from Iranian attacks

The official spokesperson for the General Fireforce, Brigadier General Mohammed Ibrahim, announced that fire crews managed to control two fires that broke out in different locations across the country on Saturday afternoon. The fires were ignited as a result of hostile attacks stemming from the unjust Iranian aggression targeting the country.

Five fire crews participated in responding to the first incident, supported by crews from the oil sector’s fire department, while three fire crews responded to the second incident.

Brigadier General Mohammed Badr clarified that fire crews immediately began firefighting and containment operations upon arrival. The incident at the first site resulted in injuries to several firefighters and one worker from the oil sector, following renewed attacks on the site during firefighting efforts. First aid was administered to the injured, who were then transferred to medical emergency services and subsequently hospitalized for treatment.

Brigadier General Mohammed Badr further stated that the General Fireforce also responded to three separate fires caused by falling debris in several residential areas, successfully controlling and extinguishing them. The damages were limited to property, with no injuries reported.
