Al-Makhaim: Electricity Authority operates at full capacity to ensure continuous power generation

Dr. Subaih Al-Makhzoum, Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, along with Al-Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Dr. Adel Al-Zamil, Deputy Minister of Electricity, conducted an inspection visit to the site of the incident at the power generation and water desalination plant. The visit aimed to assess on the ground the damage caused by the brutal Iranian aggression, monitor the progress of response and emergency operations, and review the technical measures taken to contain the incident’s repercussions, thereby contributing to maintaining the stability of the country’s electricity and water systems.
During the visit, officials received a detailed technical briefing on the nature of the damages and the urgent measures implemented from the first moments of the incident, alongside rehabilitation and repair plans underway to restore the affected units to service in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency and safety.
They also closely observed the efforts of security, safety, and firefighting teams, as well as the engineering and technical personnel working at the site, commending the rapid response and high level of efficiency demonstrated by the field teams, and their continuous round-the-clock efforts to restore normal conditions as quickly as possible.
Minister Al-Makhzoum emphasized that the ministry is operating at full capacity, mobilizing all its technical and human resources in coordination with relevant authorities to ensure the continuity of electricity and water production and to mitigate any potential repercussions of the criminal aggression. He praised the dedication and loyalty of the workers in fulfilling their national duty.
