Emiliano and Lisandro Praise the "Tango Dancers"

Emiliano Martínez, goalkeeper of the Argentina national team, and Lisandro Martínez, a squad player, praised the “Tango Dancers” for reaching the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be hosted in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Speaking after the match, Emiliano Martínez said, “There has been a lot of talk about the opponents we were drawn against, but the World Cup is an extremely difficult tournament.”
Martínez added, in comments relayed by the official website of the Argentine Football Association, after the game: “Today we faced a team with two or three different lineups, and we completely imposed our control over them.”
For his part, Lisandro Martínez stated, “We are all Argentines at this moment; what they are going through and experiencing, we feel it here as well. We were aware of the importance of this match, and from the first minute we sought to win.”
The star of the “Tango Dancers” emphasized, “Whoever wants to win always gets it. What we achieved today is historic and has brought joy to all Argentines.”
Lisandro Martínez concluded his remarks by saying, “We give our utmost effort in every shared ball, and that is what matters most. We are just one step away from the title, but let us now enjoy what we have accomplished.”
