In another Group 2 match, Iraq overturned a first-set deficit against Saudi Arabia to win the contest in three sets to one, with scores of 22-25, 25-18, 25-19, and 25-19. The victory provided Iraq with a crucial win that bolstered their chances of qualifying for the next stage.

With this win, Kuwait topped Group 1 with three points, while Syria and Qatar remained winless. Meanwhile, the host Omani team continued their strong form after defeating Lebanon in a clean sweep the previous day, moving to the top of Group 2 on set difference, level on three points with Iraq. Saudi Arabia and Lebanon remained in third and fourth place, respectively, with no points.

Competition resumes tomorrow, Thursday, with two Group 2 matches: Lebanon will face Iraq at 5:00 PM, while Saudi Arabia will take on the host Omani team at 7:30 PM. This highly anticipated clash could bring surprises and help shape the race for the two semifinal berths.
