Ministry of Electricity targets power cuts for 1,200 non-compliant properties

The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, represented by its judicial police team, participated in a field campaign in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, which resulted in the disconnection of electricity supply to a large number of non-compliant buildings.

Sources close to the matter stated that the campaign aims to cut off power to 1,200 non-compliant properties in the area, as part of an ongoing plan to monitor and eliminate violations that affect the stability of the electrical grid, particularly during periods of peak load.

The ministry emphasized that illegal tapping into the electricity supply or its improper use impacts grid efficiency, urging everyone to comply with the regulations and directives issued by state authorities and to cooperate with judicial police teams, in order to safeguard the public interest and ensure the stability of the electrical system.
