Kuwait Airways launches its first direct flights to Damascus

Kuwait Airways launched yesterday its first direct scheduled flights to the Syrian capital, Damascus, with one daily flight, as part of its strategy to expand its regional and international destination network and meet growing travel demand, thereby offering passengers greater flexibility and diverse travel options.

On this occasion, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Airways, Captain Abdulwahab Al-Shatti, affirmed that the launch of direct flights to Damascus is a continuation of the company’s expansion plan, which aims to strengthen its destination network and provide services that meet customer expectations, in line with the steady growth in travel flows to and from Kuwait.

Al-Shatti stated that the return of Damascus to Kuwait Airways’ destination network represents an important milestone in the company’s operational plans, reflecting the national carrier’s commitment to offering more destinations that cater to travelers’ needs, whether for business, family visits, or tourism, while also contributing to enhancing air connectivity between Kuwait and Syria.
