CEO of Boubayan Capital Among Top 50 Asset Managers in the Middle East

Al-Humaidhi ranked sixth in Kuwait and 31st in the region, a recognition reflecting the company’s achievements over recent years and its ability to build a comprehensive investment platform that has solidified its position as one of the leading asset management and investment firms in Kuwait and the region.

The annual list features a select group of executive leaders in the asset management sector across the Middle East. Forbes Middle East bases its rankings on a set of criteria, including the volume of assets under management and their growth rates, leadership experience, tenure in the role, as well as the most significant achievements attained by institutions during the evaluation period.

This inclusion comes as Boubian Capital continues to implement its strategy aimed at achieving sustainable growth, developing specialized investment solutions, and strengthening partnerships with global financial and investment institutions, alongside investing in digital transformation and innovation. These efforts contribute to creating long-term value for its clients and reinforcing its competitiveness in the asset management sector.

Total assets under management at the company reached over three billion dollars by the end of 2025, representing growth of more than 12% compared to 2024, underscoring the company’s continued expansion in the asset management and investment market and its ability to strengthen investor confidence in its investment approach.

This growth is underpinned by a comprehensive investment system that Boubian Capital has successfully established to meet the needs of various investor segments. Through solutions covering major asset classes—including money markets, equities, real estate, and private equity—as well as portfolio management and trading services for individuals and institutions, the company operates via a specialized platform providing access to 19 local, regional, and global markets.

The company also manages the largest Sharia-compliant money market fund by volume in the local market, in addition to trading in sukuk and investment funds through an integrated investment store. This reflects its expertise and ability to develop investment solutions that combine diversification, efficiency, and flexibility.

In line with the rapid transformations in the financial sector, Boubian Capital has continued to invest in developing a more innovative digital infrastructure. This includes launching a digital application that offers a comprehensive digital investment experience, digitizing operational processes, and expanding partnerships with global financial and investment institutions to leverage their expertise in developing investment products that meet local market needs.

The company has also strengthened its presence in the private equity sector through strategic investments in key economic sectors. These include investing in the first licensed company in Kuwait to offer a “buy now, pay later” service, the first company operating in the open banking infrastructure sector, as well as startups and the entrepreneurship sector. This confirms its approach to supporting promising economic sectors and embracing investment opportunities linked to innovation and the digital economy.

Al-Humaidhi possesses over 22 years of professional experience in investment and asset management, having held various executive positions in prestigious financial and investment institutions. She has served as Chief Executive Officer of Boubian Capital since 2022, during which she has led the company toward a new phase of growth, expansion, and enhanced presence in the asset management sector.

On this occasion, Badriya Al-Humaidhi, Chief Executive Officer of Boubyan Capital, said: “We view this rating as a testament to our clients’ trust, rather than merely an acknowledgment of our performance. It is the result of the efforts exerted by our team and their ongoing commitment to delivering investment solutions that combine institutional depth with digital agility, grounded in local expertise and strategic global partnerships, thereby ensuring sustainable value for our clients.”

She added: “We will continue to invest in developing our products and services, strengthening our partnerships with global investment institutions, and leveraging digital technologies to provide a more efficient and flexible investment experience, while maintaining our commitment to offering high-quality investment opportunities that comply with Sharia principles, placing the investor—whether an individual or an institution—at the core of our priorities.”
