Mandani: "Ayal Al-Osool" begins filming on August 15
Artist Abdulaziz Mandani expressed his satisfaction with the completion of preparations for his new series, “Ayal Al-Osool,” confirming that the production team will begin filming on August 15, paving the way for a short Gulf dramatic series consisting of 10 episodes to be broadcast outside the Ramadan season.
Mandani expressed his delight at launching his new production experience, noting that all arrangements for the project have been finalized, both in terms of the acting cast and the artistic and production aspects, which paves the way for shooting to commence according to the specified schedule.
He explained that the series’ events unfold within a thrilling dramatic framework, blending suspense and action, while highlighting the struggles of low-income groups and the social and economic challenges they face, before the plot intertwines with issues of crime, betrayal, and revenge. The narrative gradually intensifies until the conclusion.
He added that the production strives to present these issues from a human perspective, through diverse characters, each with their own circumstances and motivations, reflecting how living pressures influence their decisions and life paths.
Mandani pointed out that the decision to present the work in 10 episodes aligns with the production’s trend toward short dramatic series characterized by a fast pace and rapid developments. He emphasized that this format allows for a concentrated dramatic plot, avoiding unnecessary prolongation, thereby maintaining suspense and ensuring each episode has a significant impact on the storyline.
He noted that the team worked diligently to build a cohesive narrative that escalates from one episode to the next, with each character following a dramatic arc that influences the course of the story, while preserving elements of surprise until the end, all within a framework that combines human depth with dramatic excitement.
The cast includes Zahra Arafat and Rawan Al-Mahdi. Monaf Abdul directs the series, while Ammar Bushahin and Ibrahim Niroz write the script and dialogue, based on an idea by Hassan Abdul. The production is handled by Abdulaziz Mandani and Hassan Abdul through the Arab Media Arts Institution.
